2016 Leaf Pick-Up will be from October 31 until Friday December 2, 2016
Bagged leaves will be picked-up if:
Leaves are placed in a brown biodegradable paper bag.
Bags are set curbside - please do not set bags in the street.
We will NOT accept the following items for pick-up:
- Limbs, brush, stumps
- Plastic bags or other non-biodegradable material
- Un-bagged leaves
There will be no leaf pick-up on Friday, November 11 due to Veterans Day.
Leaves, limbs and brush can be taken to the compost site during its regular business hours up until November 23 when the site closes for the season.
City Crews will make rounds in the following zones. Depending on volumes we may not make it to every zone each day.
Harbor - Conneaut Creek west to Chestnut St CSX tracks north to the Lake
Monday: 10-31-16, 11-7-16, 11-14-16, 11-21-16
North Conneaut - Chestnut St. west to N. Kingsville line CSX tracks north to the Lake
Tuesday: 11-1-16, 11-8-16, 11-15-16, 11-22-16
West End - Chestnut St. west to N. Kingsville line Conneaut Creek north to CSX tracks
Wednesday: 11-2-16, 11-9-16, 11-15-16, 11-23-16
East Conneaut - Conneaut Creek east to Pennsylvania line Bessemer (CN) tracks to the Lake
Thursday: 11-3-16, 11-10-16, 11-17-16, 11-23-16
Uptown - Conneaut Creek west to Chestnut St. Liberty St. north to CSX tracks
Friday: 11-4-16, 11-10-16, 11-18-16, 11-23-16

Compost Site Hours of Operation
The City of Conneaut compost site is open from the first Monday in April through Saturday December 3, 2016. The compost site will be closed on all major holidays. There is no charge for use of the Compost site to any Conneaut City resident for the disposal of Residential bio-mass including tree limbs, grass clippings, leaves and wood chips.
Residential Commercial and Non-residential Commercial users will be charged a dump fee.
Monday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
MATERIAL DROP-OFF - OUT OF STATE AND OUTSIDE CITY LIMITS:
- 5 yards or less - $15.00 per load
- Greater than 5 yards and up to 10 yards - $25.00 per load
- Greater than 10 yards - $50.00 per load
- Tree Stumps - $20.00
CITY RESIDENTS - NO CHARGE FOR DUMPING EXCEPT FOR TREE STUMPS (PROOF OF RESIDENCY REQUIRED).

Online Utility Billing Now Available
Beginning November 1, 2016, city residents will be able to make water billing payments online. Residents will need to register for online payment (account number from water bill required). Once registered, you will be able to view and pay your bill online. Residents not opting for online payment will be able to continue to pay their bill in-person, automatic checking account withdrawal, by leaving payment in the after hours drop box or through several local banking institutions.
